Description Summary A bill to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to authorize additional for well-educated aliens to live and work in the United States, and for other purposes. The bipartisan bill would almost double the cap of H-1B visas allocated, from 65,000 to 115,000. It would also exempt foreign national students who have received an advanced STEM degree in the U.S., as well as outstanding professors and researchers, from the employment-based green card cap.
